The New US Cabinet: What Will It Bring?

The fate of the world is not always decided by the powerful. The presence of the silent masses in the background, combined with the endeavour of complex relationships to find new paths, this power can shake the indestructible walls and become highly destructive. In this case, the definition of power will change and it will become something that can be changed at will.

The US elections were on the agenda for a long time. The developments in the run-up to the election were important because they showed the concerns that were coming. For some, Trump was a figure whose mental health was dangerous and who could play risky games for the world, while for others he was an unsolvable and worrying figure. For this reason, from the beginning, the US deep structure thought of making its move in the chess game by assassination. While the result was frightening for some, for others it ended with admiration for Trump, who turned into a hero figure that would lead to the end of wars.

For US citizens, the situation is not so bad. After all, Trump won the elections by a significant margin and did not just stir up a hornet's nest, he started to rule it. After the election, to no one's surprise, he started to fulfil his promises to his people. This shows that Trump is not being hypocritical and will fulfil his promises directly to his people. This situation, which looks frightening from the outside, is clearly receiving serious support at home.

So why are the US people electing Trump? In his first term, Trump was the first US president not to quarrel with Russia and the first to meet directly with the North Korean leader. The economy and the unemployment rate started to improve during his term. His first target was his own country, so his decision to stop immigration was not surprising both for him and for the US public.

It is important to see what Trump's cabinet can do in the new era. It is certain that there will be a departure from the usual. My answer to those who say World War 3: This war has already started. What will be the speed and intensity of the spread of the war, or will we experience a calm period? Let's take a closer look at the influential names in the cabinet.

Trump and his Cabinet

Donald Trump, 79, is a politician, media mogul and businessman. He was the 45th president of the United States between 2017-2021. He won the elections held on 5 November 2024 and became the 47th US President. He comes from a family of German and Scottish origin. Trump has a sensitive approach to immigration. There are also citizens of Indian origin in the new cabinet, which is a surprising detail.

Trump's vice-president, Vance, who opposed him in the past and was described as "the opium of the masses", is now Trump's right-hand man. Vance is as angry as Trump but has a much harsher mindset. Trump's first domestic policy target was immigration.

Kristi Noem - Minister of Internal Security

Kristi Noem, born 30 November 1971 and from South Dakota. Supported by Trump in 2018, Noem opposed the mandatory wearing of masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Noem was appointed as Trump's Secretary of Homeland Security. Noem's rhetoric takes a hard stance on the immigration issue.

Tom Homan - Border Czar

Tom Homan is a well-known figure as Trump's advisor for border security. In his second term, Trump assigned Homan to deport illegal immigrants.

Marco Rubio - Secretary of State

Marco Rubio is a politician born in Florida and of Cuban origin. Rubio takes a tough stance on foreign policy. Known for his tough stance against Iran, Rubio argues that the US should take a strong stance against the rise of China.Michael Waltz – Ulusal Güvenlik Danışmanı

Michael Waltz is a former Green Beret and Trump's chief adviser on national security. Waltz aims to develop strategies against China and Russia in particular.

Elon Musk - Minister of State Efficiency

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, is also a technology entrepreneur and philanthropist. He will be a member of Trump's cabinet, aiming to reform government efficiency.

Vivek Ramaswamy - Government Efficiency

Vivek Ramaswamy is an Indian entrepreneur and politician. She takes a stand against the US national identity crisis and criticises environmental, social and corporate governance.

Tulsi Gabbard - National Intelligence

Tulsi Gabbard is a US Representative and a former military veteran. Opposing the intervention of the US and its Western allies in Ukraine, Gabbard will attract attention with her intelligence policies.

Pete Hegseth - Minister of Defence

Pete Hegseth is one of Trump's strongest supporters. Hegseth, who defended Trump's policies on Fox News, will be responsible for the country's security as Minister of Defence.

Susie Wiles - White House Secretary General

Susie Wiles is an important figure in Trump's presidential campaign. Wiles will join the cabinet as one of Trump's most important advisors.

Trump Cabinet and the Future

Trump's new cabinet has a colourful and diverse structure. LGBT rights, Hindu and Cuban immigrant ministers are also in the cabinet. However, it remains to be seen how willing such a diverse cabinet will be for social reconciliation.

The 5 November 2024 elections marked an important turning point for US and world politics. The American public's distrust of domestic and foreign politics could be the beginning of a new era for world politics. Although the US remains the world's largest economic power, this wealth is not distributed fairly. Trump's nationalist rhetoric and populist behaviour may lead to radical changes in domestic and foreign policy.

The Trump administration will be different from the old right-wing American right-wingers and the previous Trump era. Relations with countries such as Mexico and China will be prioritised. This cabinet is shaped by a new foreign policy vision of the US and will be influential in the restructuring of world politics.

In conclusion, it is difficult to predict what tomorrow will bring, but it is possible to see what it will take away.
